Clinical Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University

Dr. Ueda received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and veterinary degree from Washington State University. Following graduation, he completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Auburn University followed by a residency in small animal emergency and critical care at University of California-Davis. He achieved board certification in small animal emergency and critical care in 2015. In 2020, he completed his PhD program at University of California-Davis and joined the small animal emergency and critical care team at North Carolina State University. Professional interests include but are not limited to nephrology, hemodialysis, electrolytes, cardiovascular diseases, and genetics.
