Title: Acute Management of Spinal Trauma

Description:

Acute spinal cord trauma, including but not limited to fractures, luxations, atlantoaxial subluxation, and intervertebral disc disease commonly present on an emergency basis. Proper management of these cases may be critical to the patient's long-term outcome. The purpose of this dry lab is to briefly review pathophysiology of acute spinal cord trauma and review proper management of these cases to include: assessment of radiographs,  systemic workup, and bracing techniques.
