Title: Advanced Physiology: Coagulation

Description:

This workshop will be conducted in small discussion / rotating station fashion.  We will cover advanced physiology of the cell-based model of coagulation and fibrinolysis in both health and disease, as well as interpretation of coagulation testing including viscoelastic modalities. This session is recommended for residents in Emergency / Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Anesthesia training programs, and for clinicians interested in deepening their understanding of hemostasis and fibrinolysis. Participants who enroll at least four weeks prior to IVECCS will be provided with recommendations for suggested reading prior to the session.   We look forward to your great questions and your active participation!
